My dear father in law, Cyrus, passed away this morning. He was a good man and had a full life. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lighting a candle in memory of Harry Carey Jr ("Dobe") who passed away 12/27. He was a friend of Walt's and a gracious and warm man. RIP.

I made this ice candlestick with boys to honor the memory of neigbour's dog Max. He was German shepherd and had wonderful soul. The last month of his life is quite sad story (more info in Spa, Venting room - warning, not nice reading). He passed two days ago.



Dear Max, if you ever decide to come back here, please choose your owner more carefuly. There are people who love their pets and who care about them. And you deserve such a loving owner.

So sad, but at least Max is beyond his suffering now. You and your boys created a lovely memorial for him.

Thank you ladies for the thoughts and visuals. I am just so sad and upset and confused by what happened yesterday in Boston. It was obviously so well planned to harm so many innocent people. I just don't understand how someone thinks that way. It just makes me weary.

I agree with you missypotter. I believe in karma, in cause and effect. But sometimes it is so hard to understand. How can someone wants to hurt other people. Life is holy for me. All we can do is to pray for all victims and their families. I'm sure they will somehow feel our support.

Yes, the prayer thread is sadly very active these days...

Reminds us all to hug those we love often and cherish the moments we have...

I was so upset last night when I saw the news about West Texas. Those poor shocked people. I keep thinking of those volunteer fireman and policeman that lost their lives trying to evacuate people to safety.

My prayers are wityh them all.

Adding my thoughts and prayers for those in West, Texas. Also to the families of the MIT and Transit police officers killed by the men suspected of the Boston bombings.

I send out prayers for the recent victims, in all the locations.

I also am lighting a candle for my dear Uncle Bruce. He will be very much missed.
