My heart goes out to Mary Anne, hard enough to loose one but both is well, suffice it to say she will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Mary Ann said to express her thanks to you all for the prayers and support. She is very appreciative. This has been a tough season for her. She lost a close friend in November, and now has lost both her little feline companions. Fortunately she has really good neighbors who have totally been there for her.

Many hugs to Mary Ann. It's good that she has such a good support system.

Lighting a candle in memory of Rod Taylor.

Lighting a candle and setting out an armful of flowers for Leonard Nimoy. He was a true gentleman and I was blessed to have had a number of encounters with him. He will be missed, and not just by me. From what I've been seeing, it seems the internet's heart is breaking today. Rest in peace, Leonard. You are loved.

Truly he will be missed, not only as an iconic actor but a wonderful individual, may he rest in peace!

A lovely soul. We will miss him terribly. We all have had our own special people among the famous. Leonard was a special one for millions. Live Long and Prosper, good sir.

Dad was reading some news on his computer and shared the news. I was in complete disbelief so had to look it up for myself, I didn't even know he was battling cancer. Very sad day indeed, the film/theater world will never be the same. Brilliant talent, sorry to see him go.

Just now read that Alan Rickman has passed away. I've watched him in "Quigley Down Under", "Die Hard," "Galaxy Quest", "Bottle Shock" and of course as Severus Snape. An amazing talent who brought so many characters fully to life.

Everybody watches the movie 'stars' but it is the 'character actors' who really add richness to films. We've recently lost Leonard Nimoy, Christopher Lee and now Alan Rickman. Our culture is so much richer for their work, so much poorer for their loss.
