Very cute indeed. She's lucky to have such a talented grandmother.

Adorable doll with her sleeping sack. Nice that it looks safe for a small child.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
Thank you all for your comments. It was quite easy to make but I just thought it was perfect for a one year old. I think I am the only one who buys her dolls.
We also sent her a little rocker that she loves, but I didn't make that.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
Well this isn't exactly a talent, more like a hobby. It is also not the best picture, but will show some of my miniature tea sets.

The largest set in the middle I got at the Portland Rose Gardens. It was the most expensive, but I love it. The others are a mix of values. I also have a collection of just tea cups and saucers. Some day I will post those.

Hi misspotter,
What lovely teacups and sets!!! Your pink rose is beautiful. I think the one with strawberries (?) is cute but I can't see the details too well.

Thanks, MMD. I think they are fun and beautiful. I think I will try to get a close up picture of each set...or at least some of them. I love the teddy bear ones.

Very pretty. Always wanted to play with Mom's sets when I was little.

Sweet, delicate and beautiful! Thank you! I can appreciate how much work that is to clean!

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
Thanks, Karentia, Weesa and Always. They are fun to collect and play with at times. When Miri-yum-yum gets a few years older, we will take them out and play with them.
They just make me happy.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
missypotter,I missed this first time out! What a great collection. I love miniatures but didn't care to start collecting...I have enough clutter without adding tiny bits.
I love looking online for miniatures...the crafting is amazing!
I can imagine wonderful tea parties with Miss Yum...
Was there any reason why you started collecting tea sets?
I have a full size cocoa set hand painted by my grandmother almost a 100 years ago. Over the years some chipping has lowered the antique value but the sentimental is still there. I keep it packed away now, safe from cats.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
Thanks Maxecat. I agree the sentimental collections are more important than anything. Most of mine are not particularly costly, but just things I liked. Not sure why I started collecting the tea sets, I just like minatures and I just loved the tea sets.
Some of my pitchers were mine or hubby's family treasures. Others like the Mt. St. Helen's ash one is just because I live up here. Same thing as the one I got from the Rose Gardens in Portland.
Anyway, it is nice others don't think you are crazy.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
One of my nephews used to collect and ball up little bits of material he'd pick from his stuffed bunny and save them in a glass jar...one that no one could touch.
Not to judge too harshly ('cause he's ok now) but I think that was a tiny bit crazy.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
So I was just getting ready to put away my Easter Village for the season and thought I would post some pictures here.

Again not a craft, but a collection. I would love the Grandkids to get to see/play with these.

Apparently I really have a "thing" for miniatures. I also have a Christmas Village that goes up at Christmas.

Adorable! Hey, I really have a thing for minis too. Especially mini tools that work. I've always wanted to craft a victorian doll house, but never got the right space to make it in... yet.

Re: Missypotter's Creative Talents
Too cute! When I was a kid I would have gone crazy for a set like this. My Nana wasn't into collecting things.
I love looking at your hobbies, missypotter. All the cute details and none of the temptations for the kitties.
