Ok this is the place to share your username and chat about the many features of Pottermore.com, hopefully we'll be able to see a more evened out arrangement there and less crashes/freezes from all the new traffic. Ooh thanks for the reminder Maxecat. Forgot to add that I'm a Hufflepuff. Still odd since I'd always been sorted other places as Gryffindor with the exception of Ravenclaw once. But I'm happy with it and really enjoyed the special greeting from Jo and learning about other Hufflepuffs from the story. Was also fun to see the common room since we never saw it in the books.

Since the greetings concerning past alumnae of the other Houses aren't accessible to everyone maybe we could share that with the group.

I think Jo had to do a lot of back peddling after making Slytherin House seem especially dodgey all those years.

Okay I am DragonDust22748, I even made it into Gryffindor pretty unusual considering I have been a Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw as well! Ebony wand with Unicorn core rigid 13 and 3/4" long! Maybe instead of just waving it around I will do like Ron and try and put someone's eye out! giggle!

I am so sad. No matter what I do I can't get on Pottermore. I received both my emails saying all is fine. But the site won't let me log in. Finally clicked the link to get a new password. They said they would send me an email explaining how to set a new password. Of course, no email.

I guess I should put this on the rant page and not here. I just want to play along as well.

Missypotter they posted on their blog that there are still difficulties with the high traffic. Hope to see you there soon.

I wasn't thrilled with my wand (it is quite ugly) until I researched the wood, cores and flexibility. Now it fits me quite well and I just don't look at it. I also wanted a different pet, but went with the one I like best of the choices.

I haven't noticed any music! where is there music?

Maxecat, are you sure you switch the reproductors on? At least that worked for me a week ago. Maybe there is some problem with it just now? And it isn`t only music, it is noises and sounds of motorbike when Harry is delivered or of the sea when they are hiding from the letters on the rock in the middle of the water, etc... When I think of it, I don`t remember music, only sounds.

Great, today it was very strong...

I log on Pottermore and on IPad there is no sound either. So maybe the problem is on their way.

I read some where that there was great music as well. I have all the sounds, but I have not heard any music. I have been waiting to find that.

I have been having fun but I am definitely not contributing much to my house points. I can't do spells or potions. It is fun trying though. There must be some tricks to doing spells. I need to read more.

Can't remember music will let you know if I hear any. Minerva's story was just the kind of thing I wanted to see at Pottermore. As for dueling, if I want to do that I will duel my nephew on the Wii version of one of the games, it's easier on there and so is potions come to think of it. Perhaps they could be persuaded to change Pottermore's versions to match

I have requested to be friends with all my friends here. The only people who have accepted are Weesa, Coolcrookshanks and Lady. So I started requesting again and it won't let me. It tells me I have already requested their friends and to make new friends. Sort of sad. I like my old friends.

Now if you want to be my friend on Pottermore you will have to request me.

Yeah the friend thing has occasional glitches. When we first started doing the beta I sent a couple friend requests that had the same result. Hopefully they'll get used to tall the traffic and things will run smoother soon. Also hope they get the other books up soon.

I am feeling totally stupid - I'm in Diagon Alley and have read everything in there, and can't get it to unlock. Gad, such a techno tard - they will tell me I'm a squib for sure. Help?
